BR 2-18: The Runaway Pancake
Today, I read a book whose tittle is the Runaway Pancake. There was a family with seven children. Mother made pancakes for breakfast. She tossed them, up in the air and down again. But she missed and the pancake jumped and go out of door. It didn't stop and they try to catch but they couldn't... Finally, a pig ate the pancake.
I have a favorite scene. "I'm delicious but you'll never catch me." (Sims, 2006, p.25) The pancake told that when it was running. When I read the sentence, I couldn't help laughing. I think it's very funny.
As you can see, I liked the story. It's very famous in the world. So please read it and you'll like it. If you read the book, you will be happy. I recommend the book, please read it.

BR 2-17: Rumpelstiltskin
Today, I read a book whose tittle is the Rumpelstiltskin. I liked the illustration so I wanted to read. The story is also good. I will tell you my favorite scene.
There were a men and his daughter. She is so beautiful and he was proud of her. Then, a king appeared and asked them about her. And the next scene is my favorite scene. "The more the King sees your pretty face, the more he'll want to marry you."(Sims, 2006, p.8) I will tell you why that scene is my favorite scene. Because it stared the success story from that scene. So I chose that scene.

Essay 2-03b: Chikako's University Life
“Do you like your university life?” If I asked the question, I will answer “”yes”. I think I spend good university life. I’m a sophomore student at KGU and I am major in English. I like English and my home isn’t so remote from the university. So I decide to enter this university. I liked the university soon because my university life is so good. Now, I will tell you about my university life.
First, I will talk about studying English. I like English so I’m happy to study English. There are a lot of good teachers. They are sometimes a little strict about English so they give us a lot of assignments, for example, group learning, keeping my blog, recording, presentation and English central which is a teaching material… It is very hard for me to do. But I think if I have to do that, I will improve my English skills. In fact, I practiced English more and learn to real English from English central. And my favorite class is writing class. I have to keep my blog. I can practice how to write essays in English. It's very hard but it's very good thing for me.
Second, I will talk about good environments. The facility of KGU is so great. When I first visited the KGU , I was very surprised at that. I think the KGU’s facility is the best of Kumamoto’s university’s. I especially like the library, the KGU’s library is very big and there are not only books to study but also interesting magazines. And there are a lot of newspapers in various languages. So we can know what happened in the world easily. And we can listen to music and watch movies there. When I have free time, I will go there. And we also can use computers so I often do assignments in the library. Because library is quiet so I can concentrate well.
Third, I will talk about my good friends. My favorite thing is talking with people. Talking with them is the best thing in my university life. I made a lot of friends at the KGU. They are so great and funny. I often go shopping and eat meals with them. We talk a lot every day, for example, English, favorite things and love. I think we trust each other. So I’m sure to meet them is my treasure.
Finally, I will talk about my club. I belong to a volunteer club. I wasn’t interested in volunteer before. So I want to change my mind so I enter that club. My club’s name is the Asunarou. Although it has a lot of members, we are so close. We are involved in volunteer work every Saturday. We meet a lot of people and help them or do something for them, for example, eating meals with them and go shopping with them… So I do volunteer any place. Now, I think it’s a good thing to do volunteer and I enjoy volunteer. Volunteer is very fruitful thing for me. And to do volunteer gives me happy.
As you can see, I think my university life is very nice. I can study English at the good environments and meet good people. They are good things for me and I’m happy now. So I want to study a lot of things more and improve myself during a university student. I’m sure I can do it in this environment!

I want to be a good person. Because I’m 20 years old this year. I am not a child. So I want to do everything by myself. And I want person has troubles to help. So I want to develop my mind. BR 2-16: The Three Little Pigs
Today, I read a book whose tittle is the Three Little Pigs. It's famous story in Japan. There are three little pigs, Pinky, Percy and Poppy. They are brothers and they try to live theirselves. Pinky made four straw walls, roof and door. Percy made a house by sticks. And Poppy made a house by blicks. Next day, a big bad wolf appeared and he wanted to eat them. First, he want to eat Pinky so he broke Pinky's house. Pinky ran into Percy's house. The wolf followed him and he broke Percy's house. Pinky and Percy ran into Poppy's house. And the wolf followed them and he tried to break Poppy's house. But Poppy's house is strong so he couldn't...
I have a favorite sentence. "My house is the best of all. "(Sims, 2007, p.27) Poppy said that words. He made most safe house although it took a lot of money. He didn't care the time so I think he is so smart.

BR 2-15: Stories of Snowmen
I read a book whose tittle is stories of Snowmen. Have you ever made snowmen? I have made snowmen before. It seldom shows in Kumamoto. So I want to make snow men if it snows in Kumamoto.
There is a boy whose name is Jack. He was excited that snow covered the ground. He made a snowman. He made the body, head, two eyes, mouth and nose. And he finished off with a hat and scarf. I couldn't help laughing when I read the next sentence. "I will call you Chilly." (Sims, 2007, p.6) And he and Chilly made friends. I think he is so cute boy, isn't it? I want to make snowmen with him.
As you can see, the story is friend of them. And the story is also so cute. If you like snowmen, please read this book. If you read this book, your heart will warm. I really recommend the book.
