Essay 1-02a: Korea

Korea is next to Japan and very close. Korea is very popular now. Most of Japanese women like Korea. Because Korea has a lot of fascinations. I want tell about For example, Korean food, Korean dramas, Korean movies, cosmetics and Korean music.... I want to tell you fascinations of Korea.


Korean food
Korean people eat variety of meat and fish dishes along with wild greens and vegetables. Korean food is very spicy and hot. It's very healthy. Various preserved Korean food, such as kimchi which is fermented spicy cabbage, jeotgal which is seafood fermented in salt and doenjang which is fermented soy bean paste are particularly popular. Korean people eat kimchi every day.

Dramas
Many Japanese people like watching Korean dramas because they are a little different of Japanese dramas. So Japanese people are interested in Korean dramas. There are various stories which Japan doesn't have. There are a lot of famous Korean actors and actress. The actors are very cool and wild! And the actress are so beautiful and powerful. Famous actors and actress sometimes appear in Japanese dramas. So you will see how Korean actors and actress are very popular. Korean dramas are very interesting. Today , I want to tell you about Full House. It is very popular in Korea and Japan. 40 % of Korean watched it! And a lot of Japanese also watched it.

Korean music
Korean music is also good. Many young Korean like K-POP. K-POP is very famous in Japan. Many Korean groups and singers sing songs in Japan. TVXQ was the most famous Korean group in Japan. They are very smart. They can speak Japanese so they can sing songs in Japanese. They are cool and unique.
