Essay2-02a: My Language Learning Experience

I have studied English since I was a junior high school student. And I am an English major now. So I studied English for 8 years. I will introduce my English learning experiences. There are junior high school days, high school days and university days.

First, when I was a junior high school student. At first, I didn't like English so much. Because I felt English is difficult for me. I have not touched English before. But my ALT changed my mind. She was a very good teacher. She recommends touching English more. For example, listening to English songs, watching movies in English and read English books... I liked English gradually. And I went to a cram school. Then I learned Grammar and how to read long essays. I think I studied basic of English, when I was a junior high school student.

Second, when I was a high school student. I loved English. There is an English conversation class once a week. And the teacher was native. So I thought the environment was good. And I want to talk with native more. So I made friends who live in England. We exchanged emails and talked a lot on the phone. I also went to English conversation school. I met a lot of friends who like English.

Third, when I am a university student. I love English so I decide to major English. I'm so happy to study English now. When I was a freshman, I went to Canada. I wanted to touch real English and be surrounded by natives. As a result, it was a good experience to learn English. In the KGU, there are a lot of classes to study English. For example, writing class... We have to read a book and type something every week. And I took English conversation class. It's cheap but high level! There were a lot of students who have good feelings. To meet them is good thing for me and I think I have to do my best.

As you can see, I have learned English since I was a junior high school student. There are good chances and environment for me. Learning language is communicate with people who live the entire world. If I studied language, I would get more chances to communicate with people. That is very great thing for me. And I think there will be fewer misunderstandings and we get closer each others. So I think learning language is important.
