Essay 1-01a: Who am I



Hello! My name is Chikako. And my native language is Japanese. My birthday is in December and I’m 19 years old now. I go to KGU as a college student.

I like sports, for example, soft tennis, football and baseball. I belonged to the soft tennis club when I was a junior high school student. My hometown is Kumamoto which has very good places to visit, and I especially like Kumamoto castle, it is very cool and Kumamoto’s pride. I will show you a lot of pictures about Kumamoto.

There are four in my family, my father, mother, brother and me. I love my family. My father is a bank clerk and my mother is a housewife and my brother lives in another prefecture to study business management. Our family is very interesting and wonderful so I’m proud of my family. How may people is your family?

I am very interested in travel. I have been to Korea and Canada. I went to Korea in the December the year before last. I went on a homestay visit to Canada last summer. I stayed there for one month. I had a very good time and I found that to learn about different cultures is interesting. What are you interested in?

My favorite singer group is EXILE. I think they are very hot! What I like the most about them is their voice. I like their all songs. So I can't choose the best one.

My favorite season is summer and I think summer is very fun. I’m happy to stay your home this summer. It is so hot or cold in your town? Should I bring jackets? I’m looking forward to seeing you. See you soon.
